It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Unionville Home Society (UHS) website.
We have been providing services to seniors for over 50 years in this community. Our organization was founded by a group of very dedicated volunteers in 1967 who sought to improve the services available to seniors in the Unionville community and to build a long-term care home. To this day we are a non-profit organization supported by a volunteer Board of Directors. many of whom work and live nearby.
Our campus includes Union Villa long-term care home, Wyndham Gardens life lease apartments and the Unionville Community Centre for Seniors (seniors active living centre). We also have an adult day program and provide geriatric outreach services. Our reputation as a leader in seniors’ services has been built by our commitment to quality care and is delivered by our compassionate staff and volunteers.
I expect that many thoughts and questions have come to mind in your decision to move to our community. I trust that this website will help but please do not hesitate to ask questions of any of our team.
