RN: CHARGE NURSE
PART TIME
NIGHT SHIFT
(23:00 to 07:00)

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Act as Facility Manager off-shift hours
· Supervisor the ongoing care provided to the residents of the Home
· Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to and in accordance with the
Ministry of Health Long Term Care compliance standards
· Promote a positive team approach to resident care
· Act as a client advocate by supporting residents in their choices
· Assist with hiring, discipline and termination of employees
· Promote nursing process and act as a teacher/mentor to care staff

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Current Registered Nurse Certificate of Competence for Ontario.
· At least three years experience in long term care.
· Baccalaureate preparation in a related discipline or field is preferred.
· Nursing Administration courses and/or Certificate in Gerontology
