Main Street Unionville Charity Golf Classic
Co-Chairs Larry Mariani and Danny Fantini, along with their dedicated committee member, wish to thank all who helped make the 2nd Annual Main Street Unionville Charity Golf Classic in support of Union Villa Long Term Care Home such a success. The event was held on Wednesday June 29th at Angus Glen Golf Club, South Course.
“We feel that the best way to show our adoration for the community, is to organize this annual fun-filled event, with net proceeds going to this important local long term care organization – Union Villa.”
For more than 45 years, the Unionville Home Society has inspired hope and contributed to the health and well-being of residents by providing quality care in a home-like environment.
Union Villa is a not-for-profit organization and net proceeds raised from ticket sales, sponsorships and donations will be used to enhance the residents’ surroundings and support the renewal and replacement of equipment that directly impacts their care and comfort.
This year’s event raised over $65,000 to purchase additional mechanical lifting devices to assist residents with their personal care needs.
