The Union Villa Dinner Party & After Lounge, hosted by Unionville Home Society Foundation, is the largest fundraising event supporting Union Villa’s services and programs. Proceeds from the 2019 Dinner Party & After Lounge will be invested in programs that support a positive dementia-friendly environment—one that benefits the health, independence and safety of those with dementia.
Since 1991, our fundraising initiatives have directly impacted the care and comfort of Union Villa residents. Past fundraisers have supported an Alzheimer’s Wing, a new Union Villa home, replacement of resident beds and mattresses, enhancement to main resident living spaces, and most recently a long term investment to music and art therapy programs.
ABOUT THE DINNER PARTY
This elegant fundraiser at the renowned Angus Glen Golf Club will begin with a warm greeting from our event volunteers and direction to enjoy the open bar and antipasto station with encouragement to browse the silent auction tables for great finds. Make your way to your table when ready and get comfortable with your fellow table guests while waiting for your gourmet dinner and wine service. Our Co-Chairs, Audrey Jamieson and Samantha van Velzen, will welcome you from the stage, thank you, and get you ready for the after dinner activities - an exciting live auction followed by After Lounge food stations, games, and live entertainment to get you dancing.
